Join us in building a stronger precautionary movement to prevent harm from environmental hazards. Together we will create strategies for victories over mega-dumps, landfills, nuclear power and sewage sludge.
The conference features workshops on:
- Innovative local and state policies and successful campaign strategies on the local and state level;
- Safe alternatives, such as zero waste and safe energy;
- Collaborative strategies to build a broader regional movement for precaution; and
- Trainings on community organizing, advocacy, messaging, publicity and health studies.
Join with activists from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and other states to share successful campaign strategies and effective tools and tactics.
All registrations must be received by November 10, 2007.
Scholarship applications must be received by November 6, 2007.
