Dear [[First_Name]],

In the coming weeks, children across the country are going back-to-school.  What many parents don't know is many common back-to-school supplies are made out of PVC,  the most toxic plastic for our health and environment. I need your help to ensure school supplies are free of this unnecessary hazardous plastic.

Sign our Petition for PVC-Free School Supplies now and help us get the poison plastic out of school supplies.

After you sign the petition, take a picture of yourself with our speech bubbles demanding safer PVC-free school supplies.  We'll post them on our websites to put a face on the movement for safer children's products.  It's a fun and easy way to show your support!  Here's how:

1.       Download and print out the speech bubbles
2.       Take a picture of yourself, your family, your friends, or students with any or all of the bubbles
3.       E-mail the picture to us, mike@chej.org and we'll post them on the web
4.       Post the picture to your Facebook or Twitter profile

Safer products are available.  This month CHEJ released our Back-to-School Guide to PVC-Free School Supplies which found safer PVC-free school supplies are widely available, from lunch boxes to backpacksThere's no need to continue stocking store shelves with this poison plastic.

Over 1,000 people have already signed our Petition for PVC-Free School Supplies.  Will you join them?  Sign the petition now and then send us a photo with a speech bubble to mike@chej.org

You have the power to get this unnecessary toxic plastic off the market and ensure school supplies are safe for our children's health and environment.

For a toxic-free future,
