Local Action
CHEJ provides organizing, strategic and technical assistance to numerous grassroots groups across the United States. In many cases, this assistance is invisible; CHEJ often works behind the scenes, choosing to put the voices and accomplishments of local grassroots leaders ahead of its own.
CHEJ has worked in nearly all 50 states, but it is not active in every state every year. Our work depends upon the needs of the local groups across the country who ask for our help. While we have worked with some groups for over 20 years, CHEJ continues to forge new relationships with groups who are just beginning to get their feet wet.
