This year’s conference will equip seasoned activists and emerging leaders with organizing and technical skills on environmental and health issues; provide a forum to share our successes and strategies; inspire us for another year of preventing harm and promoting justice; and strive to identify a common thread that unites all of us in this work.

- Blocking a Proposed Facility
- Health Surveys
- Environmental Testing
- Scientific Research and Resources - Finding What You Need to Win
- How to Build Your Group and Get Others Involved
- Passing Local Ordinances and Policies
- Fundraising for Grassroots Groups
Participants will also have the opportunity to share their work and plan with others through facilitated issue-specific breakout sessions and activities. Sample issues include, but are not limited to: Green Cleaning in Schools and Public Facilities, Coal-Fired Power Plants, Pesticides Issues in the Fields, Home and Schools.
